School was (is) a place where we sometimes learn, participate in
after school activities, join clubs, make friends, and begin to consider
what we might want to do when we officially become
an adult. We experience political situations on a local and national scale and begin to, hopefully, think critically about our choices that shape the world in which we lilve. Trying to keep with the rapid pace of today's mobile population, we are proud to announce the launch of THE LOBO Alumni Association newsletter, THE SURVEYOR. Named in honor of the schools first newspaper, with the goal of presenting a newsletter that remains true to its award-winning founder, Kathleen Jorgenson. To do this, we need your help. THE SURVEYOR is looking for a staff of writers, photographers, and editors. |

| Tell
your friends, classmates, and alumni to submit tidbits we can include
every month for all registered LOBO Alumni Association members, who
have elected to receive the electronic edition. We are
looking for anything to
be submitted that has to do with WHS: Current news about school,
Alumni activities, families, reunions, sports, drama, music, homecoming(s),
history, trivia, just about anything. If you are interested in becoming an editor, photographer, or contributing reporter, send in a note. Anyone can submit photos, past or present, of alumni activities, reunions, people, travelogs, athletes of mention, theater, memorials, etc., just include a short note and send them in. We are seeking past issues of the original SURVEYOR for tid-bits of school history, and sometimes community interest. The publication will post on the first of each month, and deadlines for submissions will be the 25th of the month. There are 42 years of graduating classes from Workman, and that equates to a heck of a lot of LOBO ALUMNI who can submit items of interest. |
